Fabulous on a Friday

Look two post in a row! It's like I have a blog or something...moving on.

When I was younger, I used to turn my nose up at gold jewelry. I couldn't possibly be seen in gold. Gold was for old people. And don't even get me started on my opinion on mixing metals. Ohhhh the horror. Well I've pretty much done a 180 on that and now I can't seem to get me enough. Gold? Check! Gold and Silver? Check! Yea, it's like I'm a whole other person.

Several months ago, I stumbled upon "BEE"'s blog Atlantic-Pacific. This girl had some serious style. And totally rocks some Carrie Bradshaw-esque chameleon hairstyles, like the perfectly mastered bun and pouf. Serious girl envy is going on over here. In edition to her killer wardrobe, she has quite the collection of jewelry (showcased here if you're interested). In her collection, she has several signature pieces, my favorite of which is this in gold:
West Avenue Jewelry Large Monogram Necklace
{here}

There are several different metal choices and some come with a somewhat hefty price tag but when you rock looks like this, I feel the answer is yes!

 Yea. That's what I said.

Now the gold version is not really in my budget for a necklace so I've been hopelessly imagining myself wearing this vicariously through Miss BEE. I thought all was lost until I found this picture:

Source Unknown
LOOOOVVVVEEEEEEE! I searched for an hour trying to find the source of this gorgeousness with no luck. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve on how I can get my hands on my own version and BAM! Awesomeness will occur. Fore warning.

Happy Friday Lady Loves!

Retail Therapy Thursday

So it's really been far too long since my last post. My internet has been down all week and work, again, has been crazy. It seems like the last thing I want to do when I get home is write up a post. Bad blogger, bad!

It's time another edition of Retail Therapy Thursday! Woo-to-the-Hoo!

Here are this week's buys:

Forever21 Leatherette Access Belt
{here}
Gasp! Leatherette?! Yea, well, it's F21 and it's the only chocolate brown belt I could find that fit my waist. Side note to you tiny ladies out there: this belt fits super small!

ASOS Scallop Detail Shift Dress in Coral
{here}
I've been stalking this dress now for a few weeks waiting for the US size 2 to come back in stock. It will for about a day and then it's gone again. Luckily I snatched it up just in time! Love that tomatoey coral color this has going on and those sweet scallops? Gorgeous!

Lulu's La La Love One Shoulder Dress in White and Pink
Available in a select few colors and sizes {here}
I actually purchased this exact same dress last year at TJ Maxx in Navy and LOVE it. When I discovered Lulus carried the same dress (Lulus has their tag sewn in instead of whatever mine says) I was thrilled. They come out with new colors every few months (along with staples like black) but they sell out super quick. This time around I was able to snag one in white and hot pink (looks more coral in this pic but its a nice bright pink...honeysuckle even???). Since these colors aren't available on the website anymore, I did a quick search online to see if anyone had posted them and wouldn't you know, Princess Sassy not only posted this dress, but posted the pic above; the exact colors I bought! Great minds think alike.

I also bought a great pair of stud earrings from World Market (random?) that are a great color; like if jade and turquoise had a baby...I tried to find a pic online but no go.

That wraps up Retail Therapy Thursday!

Window Shopping Wednesday

Hello pretty readers! It's been two whole weeks since my last post. My bad. I do have a good excuse though. I was on a family ski vacation up until Sunday and it's been crazy playing catchup at work. Now that I'm back, let's kick off with this week's edition of Window Shopping Wednesday!

Ann Taylor Loft
         Shimmery Wristlet  | Shimmery Cosmetic Bag
{here} | {here}
We all know I love me some leopard and this is such a glam take! I'll take both at only $16.50 a piece. Sadly, none of my local ATL stores carry these. Road trip anyone?

Express 1-Button Cotton Sateen Jacket
{here}
Express had a similar structured white suit jacket several months ago that I really like the look of and I saw it pop on several blogs. However, when I tried it on in store, the fabric was really heavy and stiff. I felt a little too restricted wearing it, although the amount of tailoring was impressive given that for petites, it can be hard to find pieces from Express that fit.

See you tomorrow!
